Good Afternoon,

I wanted to let you know that the Northern Trust’s Psychological Therapies Service is running a FREE mental health class in the Ballymena community. The class is entitled “Stress Control” and  is completely free of charge and open to all, so please feel free to come along yourself with friends or family, and invite all colleagues and service users of your organisation to attend.

Here are further details of the class:

Starting:       Wednesday 14th November 2018

Location:      Adair Arms Hotel

                       Ballymena

Time:             6.30pm – 8.00pm

“Stress Control is a six week, self-help course aimed at people experiencing anxiety or depression, anyone who is experiencing stress, knows someone who is, or just wants to be better equipped to deal with stress. People who have attended classes to date identify learning a range of beneficial skills to help them manage stress. The class runs once a week for six weeks.  Topics covered include: an overview of what stress is, controlling your body, controlling your thoughts, controlling your actions, getting a good night’s sleep and planning for the future.

Stress Control is a class not a “group therapy” – you do not have to talk about personal difficulties in front of others.

I have attached a leaflet and poster for your information. Please feel free to post this on social media, or print out and use to spread the word about this programme to any person whom you think may like to come along.

If you have any further questions or queries about this programme then please do not hesitate to contact me on stress.control@northerntrust.hscni.net

Warmest Regards,

Rachel Johnston
